Hi, I’m Jasmin

If you’re a woman over 40 who feels frustrated by weight gain, low energy, and a body that no longer responds the way it used to, you’re not alone. I know this feeling personally.

Between the ages of 37 and 42, I gained about 10 pounds every year. Slowly. Quietly. Until one day I realized I was nearly 50 pounds heavier, wearing clothes I didn’t feel good in, and wondering how things had gotten so far off track.

What made it harder was that I wasn’t careless. I knew what I was “supposed” to do. I’d diet. I’d try to work out harder. I’d fall off the wagon. Then I’d blame myself and start over again.

And over and over, the same thing happened: the strategies that worked in my 20s and 30s just… didn’t anymore.

What Finally Changed

The shift didn’t come from doing more. It came from doing less, but more consistently.

Instead of chasing extreme plans, I built my routine around something I could actually stick with: walking. From there, I layered in small daily habits that supported my metabolism, energy, and confidence.

This wasn’t an overnight transformation. I fell off the wagon many times. But I always came back to simple, sustainable routines instead of quitting entirely.

Today, I’m 45 years old, and I’m starting 2026 around 45 pounds lighter than I was at my heaviest and feeling stronger, more confident, and more in control of my health.

Why I Created Fit & Ageless After 40

I’m not a personal trainer or nutritionist. I’m just a woman who had to figure this out the hard way.

I created this space for women over 40 who:

  • Feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice
  • Want results without extreme dieting or intense workouts
  • Want habits that fit real life
  • Want to age well without hating the process

My approach is intentionally simple:

  • Walking-first as the foundation
  • Small daily rituals that support metabolism and confidence
  • Tools that support real life (not replace effort)
  • Progress over perfection

If you’re feeling stuck or discouraged, please know this:

You’re not broken. You don’t need to do more. You may just need a simpler foundation.

I’m so happy you’re here!
